Before you complete your registration, please review and accept our Advisor Agreement. This Agreement outlines your rights, duties, and commitments—including your financial contribution, optional participation in committees and events, and our release of liability provisions.

National Muslim Chamber of Commerce Advisor Agreement Terms

Term & Commitments:

• Your service as an Advisor begins on the date your Agreement is accepted and approved by NMCC and remains in effect for one (1) year, unless terminated earlier as provided in Section 9.
• You commit to offering your strategic guidance and expertise to help NMCC achieve its mission.
• Your participation is optional in the following areas:
• Serving on or advising NMCC Board committees.
• Attending Board meetings.
• Participating in NMCC events.

Financial Commitment & Non-Refundable Fees:

• You agree to provide a non-refundable fee of $11,000 upfront. This fee may be satisfied wholly or in part by cash and/or in-kind professional services (subject to NMCC’s prior approval).
• All fees paid under this Agreement are non-refundable. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of these fees.

Responsibilities & Engagement:

• You agree to provide expert advice and support NMCC’s strategic initiatives, including government relations, fundraising, and membership growth.
• NMCC will provide you with regular updates, strategic briefs, and background materials (including draft Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and our six-month startup action plan) to support your advisory role.

Release of Liability:

• You hereby release and discharge NMCC, its Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims or liabilities arising from or related to your advisory services, including any acts or omissions (whether by negligence or otherwise) by NMCC representatives, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Additional Terms:

• The full Agreement covers arbitration, confidentiality, assignment, work for hire, and other essential terms governing your role. We encourage you to review the complete document before accepting.
